![]() Neighbor is way too underpowered to even do a 2v1 with kids Neat story, not rushed, good hints to puzzles. Act 3 but with a different introįull Game: 8.5/10. The parkour is overexaggerated by people since there's like 1 bit of parkour in the game, and the 2 puzzles give good hints. The atmosphere like the ambient sounds and the thunder and the mannequin placing. However, the Neighbor is really not good in this alpha. The window jumping animation is an AWESOME addition. The story in this alpha is great, and ends on a good cliffhanger. The art style makes it stand out and isn't ripped off of google images. I honestly like the direction this game took. Want to lose him? too bad! He also overuses shortcuts in situations where he can already get you. Neighbor on the other side of the map? go ahead, try and hide under a bed, it wont do anything, he'll just come and grab you. Better than the pre alpha, however, the neighbor will ALWAYS know where you are. The AI's idle and hunt mode sucks, the sun is the only light in the entire build that casts shadows, the traps are set as if the neighbor is looking through the player's eyes and not his own Rule 19: Do not organize community events without contacting the moderators.ĬSS by /u/f-n-a-f-g-y-f-r Read the rules, neighbor! In the TestMap, there exists a unused mechanic where knocking down a Vandal and then shining your flashlight on them, would cause them to surrender, taking them to the nearest "DetentionRoom" would have them enter, allowing you to lock the door with a key, if you leave the Guard House alone for long enough, another vandal will come around, pick the lock, and free his friend.Hello Neighbor is a Stealth Horror Game about sneaking into your neighbor's house and figuring out what he's hiding in the basement. It has a working Funicular (unlike the main game) as well as an unused mechanic where you can arrest the Vandals and take them to the "DetentionRoom" for the night. In the files of Hello Guest Alpha 1, exists a test map for, well, testing. Has 2 ropes, a ball, attached to a HN1 Key ![]() Hold Left Shift to slowly fall down, avoiding harms way!, takes the visuals of a white bomb This Item worked like a second inventory, you could put it down, and then put other items into it Placeholder for the Locks, Can be knocked off a door by throwing something at it These cutscenes exist for both Quentin and Beatrix. These are labelled as "Alpha2_Intro" in the files, so they were either scrapped for time constraints, or meant to be used in a possible Alpha 2 of Hello Guest, before being scrapped entirely for Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1.Ĭut Cinematics that would have teached the player how to activate the funicular. In the files, there exists two unused extended endings for Beatrix and Quentin. Reshoot all of these, as these cutscenes DO have audio, but the video doesn't as the uploader forgot to turn audio on.
